Exercise and Pregnancy


We want to be healthy when we're pregnant and we know it's healthy to exercise; but what sort of exercises can we do and how much is too much?

What I'm really wondering is is it ok for me to run? I am not a runner at all and I had just made a goal to run a 5k this year and then I got pregnant. I have only ran for 2 weeks now, is it safe for me to continue to run?

I would say it's okay for you to run. When your belly gets big it will become uncomfortable to run but other than that it shouldn't hurt the baby. Exercise is good for you and therefore good for the baby :)
